Two arrested after man reports was beaten up by gang of youths

Two people, including a teenager, have been arrested in connection with a case of causing serious bodily harm to someone in Paphos on March 28.

According to police, the two suspects, aged 17 and 27, had been sought since April 4 and were finally arrested at 6.30 on Saturday evening.

On March 28 a 35-year-old man reported to police that he had been beaten up by a gang of unknown youths.

He was taken to Paphos general hospital where he was diagnosed with a broken tooth and a bruise on his left cheekbone and was kept in for treatment.During the course of police inquiries arrest warrants were issued for the two suspects.
