As a result of 11,004 checks police booked 185 individuals, four of them business owners, for breaching coronavirus measures from Thursday until Friday.

One business owner was fined in Limassol, two in Paphos and one in the Morphou district.

Traffic police conducted 612 inspections and booked 7 persons.

In Nicosia, 3,067 checks were carried out, in Limassol 2,476, in Larnaca 1,343, in Paphos 1,404, in Famagusta 1,213 and in Morphou 819.
