Four cast members added to new ‘Stranger Things’ season

‘Stranger Things’ fans will be overjoyed to learn that filming the fourth season of the popular Netflix series is winding to a close. And there’s more to pique curiosity, thanks to four new cast members and their characters being announced.

Joining Eleven, Mike, Steve and the gang will be Vickie, “a cool, fast-talking band nerd who catches the eye of one of our beloved heroes;” Patrick, a basketballer from Hawkins whose life spirals “out of control;” new guidance counsellor Ms. Kelly; and Chrissy, the head cheerleader from Hawkins High, who has “a dark secret”.

Vickie will be played by Amybeth McNulty, Patrick by Myles Truitt, Ms. Kelly by Regina Ting Chen and Chrissy by Grace Van Dien.

Meanwhile, a trailer for the fourth season dropped last month, hinting at Eleven’s back story and her time in captivity.
