The 18 kindergartens and 36 primary schools will operate until 4pm, with the teaching and activities on offer catering to each community’s needs.

The programme will run from June 20 through to July 22 and see Ukrainian refugees also offered the opportunity to attend where they, along with other children who may be in need, be able to bolster their Greek-language learning.

The ministry called on anyone who is interested in registering their children to approach the current school in which they are enrolled.

Parents and guardians will only be asked to contribute towards the children’s meals.
