Police on Monday morning blue-lighted a convulsing one-year-old with high fever to Paphos general hospital.
Police were approached by a car on Posidonos avenue in Kato Paphos at around 3am.
In a state of panic, the driver told them that his daughter, also in the car with the mother, needed immediate transport to the hospital.
Acting swiftly, police escorted the couple’s car safely to the hospital where medical staff were standing by to provide first aid to the one-year-old.
She was then kept in the pediatric department with the state of her health being out of danger.
The child’s father thanked the police for their immediate action.
