Beach parties, music and evening cycling coming up

August always has an unusual blend of cultural events. In between public holidays, vacations and travelling come a few more live music events but also cycling trips that take participants on an evening city ride.

Arriving soon is a beach party that is a blast from the past as it plays only 90s music. The Nineties Forever Theme Party Vol.2 will take over Palm Beach-Kalymnos in Limassol on Saturday and from 8pm DJs Jimmy The Destroyer and Petros Sophoclides will play 90s and 00s hits. A few days later and again in Limassol, Pier One invites Avant Tout for a special live performance. The jazzy duo will take the floor on August 24 to perform French jazz ballads, popular swing and bossa nova pieces to entertain guests that are wining and dining.

Also on August 24 is another event that will take its guests on a cycling adventure. The Limassol Cycling Club is organising an evening ride to Kolossi. Setting off at 7.30pm from Enaerios promenade, the group will head towards Zakaki and Asomatos to end at Kolossi village for a short break. From there, they will return via Ypsonas village and MyMall to conclude the two-and-a-half-hour ride.

Continuing with the live music performances of the month is another evening with Minus One. The popular pop-rock band will be at Ravens Music Hall on August 27 for another explosive performance. Doors will open at 10pm yet the music won’t start until 11pm when the band will take the stage to play famous dance hits and international favourites to wrap up August’s events on a high note!
