The lifting on the mandatory use of face mask and the resetting of spaces to their full capacity are expected to be advanced by health minister Michalis Hadjipantela during his meeting with the cabinet on Wednesday according to CNA.

During the minister’s Tuesday afternoon meeting with the scientific advisory committee, the latest epidemiological data were evaluated and a decrease in all indicators and numbers of hospitalized patients recorded was noted.

It was decided that given the improvement in data, changes within the community should follow accordingly, the same sources said.

Additionally, it is also expected that the minister will recommend that students, teachers, and other school staff carry out a self-test or a rapid test before returning to schools.
