minute

Where do you live?
I live in my hometown Nicosia at the moment along with my cats.

What did you have for breakfast?
Two bowls of cereal and a freshly grinded freddo espresso.

Describe your perfect day
A rainy day would be the perfect day! After having an early morning training session at the gym, spending as much time as possible out in nature and then, home with my cats, a nice cup of tea and a good movie. Finishing up the day with a good Dungeons and Dragons session and a good company of friends.

Best book ever read?
The Witcher novels by Andrzej Sapkowski. Since I remember I always had a huge fascination about epic fantasy and what not.

Best childhood memory?
The trips we went on abroad with my grandparents and brothers.

What is always in your fridge?
Chocolate, I love chocolate.

What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
Varies from Death Metal to Power Metal to Nordic folk.

What’s your spirit animal?
I don’t have a spirit animal but if I did, it would definitely be a cat. Not sure why but I’ve always felt connected to cats.

What are you most proud of?
I’m proud with what I’ve achieved so far in my life. The values my parents and grandparents taught me. Mostly I’m proud with what I‘ve achieved in power lifting. I’ve recently participated in my first National Powerlifting Competition and won silver medal in my category. Taking into account that I’ve been diagnosed with Familial Mediterranean Fever, which causes frequent joint and stomach pains, this medal is definitely something I’m proud of. Looking forward for the next one.

What movie scene has really stayed with you?
Lord of The Rings, The Two Towers: Gandalf’s arrival at the battle of Helm’s Deep riding down the hill alongside the Rohirrim. This scene always gives me crazy goosebumps , such an epic scene.

If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
JRR Tolkien. Imagine having a Dungeons and Dragons session with him! What a great Dungeon Master he would’ve been!

If you could time travel when/where would you go?
Middle Ages, specifically back to the Viking Age

What is your greatest fear?
Being buried alive.

What would you say to your 18-year-old self?
It’s ok to fall, as long as you keep getting up and don’t be scared to fail, this is how we learn. Also, buy Bitcoin.

Name the one thing that would stop you dating someone
Hatred towards animals and especially cats.

If the world is ending in 24 hours what would you do?
I’d spend those last 24 hours with my family, my close friends and my animals. And throw the most epic party. If we’re going out, we’re going out with style!
