Fork Food Markets continue in October

2

Ever since their post-pandemic comeback, the Fork Food Markets have become a favourite with each one more packed than the last. Continuing past its usual summer-only schedule, Fork Food has added more street food nights to its agenda this year. It now invites foodies to its last two markets of 2022.

On October 14 and 21, the Municipal Gardens of Nicosia will fill once again with food vendors cooking and sizzling tasty delights. The premise of the October events is more or less the same with the only difference being the hours of operation. An earlier start time will be implemented with food served from 6pm until 10pm, and the bar and the music open until 11pm.

“This has been a good year and one we all needed greatly,” says the Fork Food team. “After two years of restrictions and isolation, we were finally given the chance to do things that weren’t possible for a long time. It allowed us to finally get together again and talk and socialise and hug and generally enjoy the benefits of human proximity. Through this experience, the importance of our market re-surfaced and became even clearer in our minds. We were reminded once again of the value of what we do; providing an alternative space where people can mingle and relax and enjoy a good time. We hope this never stops again!”
