According to the Paphos police spokesperson Michalis Nicolaou, a 43-year-old contractor told police officers at the Polis Chrysochous station that he saw two unidentified men leaving the building’s engine room and fleeing when arriving at work on Tuesday morning.

One of the two, during his attempt to escape, fell to the ground and was immobilised by the employees. Police officers arrived at the scene and identified the 35-year-old, who is a permanent resident of Cyprus, while the second person managed to escape.
