Did you know that the oak tree is the national tree of Cyprus and an endemic small tree? Also known as the golden oak, the tree is mostly found in Paphos, Troodos, Adelfoi and Machaeras forests and an upcoming Limassol workshop will share all of its secrets.

Lilipou Gift Store collaborates once more with Claroplants to present a workshop on hydroponic houseplants. This special edition workshop, however, on December 10 at Lilipou will highlight the acorn of the Cypriot oak tree. Participants will learn all about the basics of hydroponics, plant selection, propagation, germination and sprouting and how to grow acorns in water. Also, Claroplants will show participants how to transform kitchen scraps into houseplants and how to best take care of hydroponic plants.

At the end of the one-and-a-half-hour workshop, guests will leave not only with plant knowledge but also goodies from Claroplants, a propagated plant and an acorn to grow at home. Two sessions will run on December 10, one at 10am and another at 4pm with only a small number of participants each time hosted at Lilipou’s colourful and cosy venue.
