Kadis determined to ensure a green economy

Cyprus is determined to have a smooth transition into a green and digital economy Agriculture Minister Costas Kadis said on Tuesday.

Visiting Strovolos’ centre for green and digital entrepreneurship, Kadis highlighted the purpose of the centre is perfectly aligned with those of his ministry: “to ensure a modern, circular and competitive economy, with zero emissions and the sustainable use of natural resources.”

The centre which operates with the Cyprus International Institute of Management aims to  support businesses have a speedy and smooth transition in their operations.

Kadis notes the centre will offer specialist programmes and tools to help develop knowledge related to green business and assistance in utilising EU funding.

“With the ‘Cyprus Tomorrow’ plan and the recovery and resilience plan, Cyprus will move with slow but steady steps towards a green and digital transition, utilising the opportunities our economy has to offer, despite the crises it faced.”
