Health minister attends EU health council

Health Minister Michalis Hadjipantela will attend the European Union health council aiming to define a unified strategy on health issues, it was announced on Thursday.

The Cypriot minister is travelling to Brussels to participate in the meeting with other European health ministers, the health ministry said in a statement.

The aim of the meeting, among other things, is to define a unified strategy on health issues, as well as to establish legislative frameworks, it said.

Hadjjipantela will also hold bilateral meetings with a view to achieving cooperation and synergies in the health sector, the statement added.
