The government has arranged a number of special voting booths that will allow people with disabilities to vote.

An announcement from the chief returning officer on Monday said the government would collect details about members from Cyprus’ disabled persons organisation (Opak) so as to offer facilities at the voting centres they would be going to.

People using wheelchairs that are not Opak members are called to email the interior ministry [email protected] or send a fax to 22 678486.

The document should include the following details:

Subject: Accessibility for voting in a wheelchair
