Driver in serious condition after driving into tree

Paphos General Hospital

A 37-year-old man was seriously injured after crashing into a tree in Paphos, police said on Sunday.

The accident happened on the Natas – Holetrion road where under conditions that are still being investigated, the man drove into a tree, causing his vehicle to overturn.

Both he and the 41-year-old passenger were injured but out of harm.

The 37-year-old is still in hospital with injuries to his extremities. His health condition is serious but out of danger. His passenger received first aid at Paphos general hospital and asked to be discharged.
