Victim of stabbing refuses to cooperate with police

An Egyptian man who underwent surgery after being stabbed with a knife, is refusing to cooperate with police in the case. 

According to head of CID, Michalis Nicolaou, the 36-year-old presented himself at a private clinic in Paphos at 5pm on Tuesday evening, with an injury between the tibia and fibula.

He was transferred by ambulance to the Paphos hospital A&E where officers visited him for questioning and investigation of the incident.

Nikolaou stated that the 36-year-old is not cooperating and refuses to state the circumstances of his injury.

The man underwent surgery to repair his wound and is being kept for further treatment. His health condition was stated as out of danger.
