On Friday isolated showers and storms are expected, starting in the western half of the island and concentrated in the north, west and the higher mountains. Hail, sleet or snow may fall at higher elevations. Temperatures will rise to 18C in the interior, 19C on the coasts and 8C in the higher mountains. Winds will be mainly south-to north-westerly, light to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort and strong on the coasts, up to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be rough.

Overnight will be partly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms expected. Winds will be mainly south- to north-westerly, light to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort, and locally strong to very strong, up to 6 Beaufort. Temperatures will drop to 12C in the interior, 13C on the north, east and southeast coasts, 17C on the remaining coasts and 4C in the higher mountains. The sea will remain rough.

Saturday will start off partly cloudy with isolated showers and a thunderstorm expected in the west and north. Sunday and Monday will be mostly sunny.

Temperatures will rise through Monday reaching slightly above the average for the season.
