Cannabis and cocaine haul in Larnaca

Two people aged 19 and 54 were arrested after they were found with more than 4kg of drugs, police said on Sunday.

The 19-year-old was pulled over while he was driving on Saturday night, where officers found a small undisclosed quantity of cannabis. He was arrested on the spot.

Police secured a search warrant for his home, where in the presence of the 54-year-old, cocaine and cannabis were found.

Specifically, officers found 2kg and 623g of cocaine, and 2kg with 733g of cannabis.

They also found four precision scales.

Both people were remanded for eight day at Larnaca district court.
