Police are investigating a case of illegal slaughter of goats in Nicosia on Wednesday.

The suspected premises were visited by the state veterinary services on Tuesday in collaboration police to get to the bottom of the allegedly illegal activity.

During the inspection, 15 slaughtered sheep and goats were found, not bearing the required official marking.

Latsia police are furthering the investogation.
