This month has a lot to take in but coming soon are two productions that kick it up a notch as they present world-famous ballets and musicals on ice!

Artists dance, act and entertain on an ice-filled theatre stage, offering unique viewing experiences for the whole family. This December, two independent shows will arrive in Cyprus to bring Christmas classics and Disney favourites on skates, flying choreographies and stunning costumes.

First is the Nutcracker Ice Show, which is set to tour Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos on December 11 to 15. Combining figure skating, circus acts and classical ballet, Tchaikovsky’s renowned compositions will come to life in a new light. It is the ultimate Christmas show with an extra touch of excitement as dancers gracefully cut through the ice. Star artists from Cuba and Mexico, winners of numerous international circus festivals, will provide an incredible acrobatic performance which is sure to charm Cyprus audiences.

Disney fans will have a chance to enjoy the adventures of sister Elsa, Anna, Olaf and their friends in the Music Circus Show on Ice with Highlights of Frozen 1 & 2 production. With an impressively staged new ice show, the organisers present the union of ice dance and breathtaking circus acrobatics. This new music show on ice will take audiences on an enchanting journey into a magical fairy tale world on four nights in the island’s four main cities.

On December 12, the artists will charm Paphos audiences before performing in Larnaca on December 13, Nicosia the following evening and finally, Limassol on December 15. Hit songs from the Disney soundtrack (of films one and two) will be performed against breathtaking acrobatics, an LED screen and an immersive winter wonderland on stage.
