Two private institutes have been found operating without the required licences following investigations prompted by public complaints, the Association of Private Institutes announced on Friday.
One of the institutes is currently under police investigation, while a criminal case has already been filed against the second. The first court hearing for this case is expected to take place soon.
The association stated that these investigations are part of efforts to uphold high standards in private education and ensure compliance with the relevant legal framework.
It emphasised that adherence to the law is essential for the effective functioning of the education system, warning that unlicenced operations undermine educational integrity and compromise the quality of services provided to students and their families.
The association further called on the public to cooperate with the authorities and make sure the institutes they choose are legally licenced and operating in accordance with regulations.
