The local comedy scene is growing with almost weekly stand-up shows. Thanks to dedicated local comedians, the comedy stage in Cyprus is becoming bigger and bigger. Most of the time however, they target adult audiences but what about younger viewers? One upcoming show exclusively addresses children!

Renowned Cypriot comedian Louis Patsalides hosts a children’s stand-up comedy show this weekend with important messages to share. On Sunday morning at the CyTA Amphitheatre in Nicosia, through a fun and entertaining performance, Patsalides will talk to children about internet safety and cyberbullying.

Welcoming a audience members aged six to 12, Patsalides will present a specially-crafted comedy show that speaks directly to children. Though his show will touch on important topics in children’s lives that can greatly affect these sensitive ages, Patsalides’ approach will be through humour and light-hearted stories.

His set, in Greek, will teach children how to protect themselves online but also how to handle difficult situations with positivity and confidence. As the 11am event is supported by Keanita, the children will receive juices and gifts and spend a morning learning and laughing.
