Live music, street parties, Christmas markets, comedy specials… this month has it all. Ot, to be more specific, this Friday night has it all! And this comes ahead of an even more packed weekend!

Kicking off Friday’s events in Nicosia is a live music performance by Alexis Sunder at Yalla Collective Space & Café at 9pm. The singer-songwriter will present a laid-back set with songs from his solo projects as well as new materials, accompanied by Andreas Epaminondas on guitar and Frangiskos Petrides.

More live music will sound at Sarah’s Jazz Club this Friday as Ronja Burve arrives on the island to perform a couple of exclusive shows. In a few days, she will fill Nicosia’s jazz bar with soulful swing tunes and songs, joined by three local musicians.

Bringing the fiesta vibes, Mix FM is organising a three-day Street Party downtown. Split into three separate days across the holiday period, Stasikratous will fill with cocktail stands, street food and DJs as central Nicosia welcomes the Christmas season with afternoon fiestas. The first party will be held this Friday with DJs Bkas, Mr.Unkown.Official and VinylMafia. The next parties will be held on December 24 and 27, all starting at 5pm.

If it is a night of laughter, you are after, Motion Comedy will host a Christmas Special stand-up show with Constantinos Psillides, Hambis Damianou, Zacharias Zannettou and Pavlos Pavlides. The comedy night – in Greek – will be held at Satiriko Theatre and will present a medley of sets by some of Cyprus’ top comedians to mark the start of the weekend and Christmas week!
