Limassol police arrested a 39 and 45-year-old under suspicion of breaking into a warehouse and stealing tools from the Turkish Cypriot property management service on Sunday night.

The suspects were stopped by traffic police in Polemidia, where officers found a number of tools in their vehicle. When questioned, they were unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for the items’ origin or intended use. Both were arrested for illegal possession of property.

Further investigation confirmed that the tools, valued at approximately €2,000, had been stolen during a warehouse burglary involving property belonging to the Turkish Cypriot property management service.

The suspects are expected to appear in court on Tuesday for a detention order.
