From 20 to 21 March 2025, an international medical technology exchange conference themed “Future of Personalised Medicine” was held at European University Cyprus in Nicosia. The event brought together medical experts, researchers, and medtech industry representatives from Europe, Asia, and beyond to explore development trends in precision medicine, AI-driven healthcare, digital health technologies, and traditional medicine innovation.
The conference was organised by the One Health One Road Alliance in partnership with multiple international medical research institutions and was conducted in a hybrid format. The main venue was located at European University Cyprus, while a live online streaming platform connected participants from around the globe.
Experts from 14 countries participated
The conference attracted experts from 14 countries, including China, Cyprus, Brazil, Spain, Switzerland, Greece, France, Poland, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Germany, Nigeria, and Kenya. Experts from these nations engaged in exchanges on medical innovation, AI-driven healthcare, traditional medicine, and digital health technologies, and took part in roundtable discussions.

The conference concluded with an international roundtable discussion. Discussions focused on how AI technologies, medical data platforms, and digital health systems can drive the transformation of healthcare towards digitalisation and personalisation. As technology advances, healthcare service models are gradually shifting from traditional treatment approaches towards more precise, personalised, and data-driven systems.
Throughout the exchanges, participating guests shared their experiences and practices in medical research, medical technology innovation, and health management. By bringing together the knowledge, experience, and professional backgrounds of experts from different countries, cross-disciplinary collaboration and innovative ideas continued to intersect, offering new pathways for the future development of healthcare systems.
The roundtable also paid special attention to the importance of preventive medicine, early disease detection, and long-term health management. By strengthening investment in these areas and combining them with AI and digital health technologies, healthcare efficiency can be improved while further enhancing public health outcomes and quality of life.
The conference concluded that integrating innovative concepts, artificial intelligence technologies, and global medical cooperation mechanisms will provide significant momentum for the development of personalised medicine and create new opportunities for advancing global health.
