The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation hosted the experiential photography exhibition “Behind Her Smile – Two Portraits, One Truth” on Friday, March 13, as part of the EndoMarch Cyprus 2026 Endometriosis Awareness and Information Campaign.
According to an announcement by the foundation, the event was held at its neoclassical headquarters in Cyprus, located at 5 Markou Drakou Street in Nicosia, a space made available for actions by organisations and institutions engaged in social and charitable work.
The exhibition offered what the foundation described as a particularly moving artistic experience, presenting through photographic portraits and interpretive narratives the true stories of women living with endometriosis.
Eight acclaimed actresses gave voice to those testimonies, bringing into focus the often unseen burden of a painful chronic gynaecological condition.
The foundation said hosting the exhibition formed part of its ongoing commitment to supporting actions that promote information, social awareness and meaningful contribution to society.
The campaign is set to continue in Limassol, with EndoMarch Cyprus inviting the public to a further experiential exhibition, with the same title, on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 6.30pm, at the Four Seasons Hotel.
According to the organisers, the exhibition will once again present, through photographic works and interpretive narratives by eight popular actresses, the personal stories of women living with endometriosis, shedding light on the invisible aspects of a condition that affects the health and daily lives of thousands of women.
The event in Limassol will be addressed by Health Minister Neophytos Charalambides, representing the President of the Republic.
EndoMarch Cyprus said attendance would send a strong message of support to every woman who wants to be heard.
