Limassol municipality postpones fee payments until Jan 11

Limassol municipality has pushed back payment of fees and municipal taxes to January 11, as its cashiers service will remain closed in early January due to the coronavirus situation.

The municipality’s cashiers are closed from December 30 to January 10. As such, the payment deadline for fees and taxes has been extended from December 30 to January 11.

Among others these concern garbage collection fees, annual professional license fees, as well as fees for the use of professional premises.

Payments can be made on the municipality’s website (www.limassolmunicipal.com.cy) via the JCC service.

The Limassol Water Board will also be closed to the public for payments until January 10. Skeleton staff will be on hand to respond to emergencies, but service will be provided only by appointment – by calling 25 830 000) or sending an email to [email protected].

Payments until January 10 should be made online, at JCC’s website or the webpages of commercial banks.

A number of the Water Board’s services are available online (https://www.wbl.com.cy and via email [email protected]) : request to reconnect the water supply; request to disconnect the water supply; create a standing order; request to have a bill reviewed.

Likewise Paphos municipality has extended to January 29 the deadline for payment of (residential) garbage collection fees.

Payments can be made online only at the municipality’s website, www.pafos.org.cy.

Fees not paid by January 29 will be subject to a 10 per cent penalty.
