What makes a ski resort truly luxurious can be subjective.

For some high-flying guests, designer shops and premium nightlife are key, for others, exclusive access to five-star skiing routes is make or break, and for yet others, it’s the Michelin-star dining and availability of helipads, in line with their glitzy lifestyle.

But thanks to its heavenly slice of the Alps, Switzerland’s glamorous ski resorts are arguably top of class.

In this video, we float above the magical slopes of Swiss ski resort Verbier, which in the Seventies linked up with other local villages to create the nation’s largest ski region, Les Quatres Vallées, boasting over 400km of downhill runs, groomed daily for skiing enthusiasts of all levels.

But it’s not only known for its breathtaking off-piste slopes and premium powder. Verbier also shines for its outstanding après ski, with a nightlife that keeps high-flyers dancing well into the wee hours.
