When the sky has no limits: Jeff Bezos’ $65m private jet

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos owns one of the largest e-commerce companies in the world and is constantly travelling… which may cause you to wonder, does he own his own jet?

That would be affirmative: the billionaire does indeed own his own private jet – a Gulfstream G650ER, to be precise – and uses it to fly to meetings on opposite sides of the world, from one day to the next.

But Bezos didn’t always own an extravagant Gulfstream, nor did he have the funds to justify the purchase. Earlier on, in fact, he had a more ‘modest’ Dassault Falcon 900-EX, which he eventually sold in 2015. Thereafter, he bought the brand new Gulfstream, with a fuel range of 13,900 kilometres. Which now means he can fly almost halfway around the globe before his jet needs to refuel.
