Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei belongs to one of the richest royal clans in the entire world.
While his brother, Sultan Hassan al Bolkiah, controls the family’s fortune, which comes to more than $30 billion, Prince Jefri is certainly not deprived of a luxurious lifestyle, having been known to buy everything from five-star hotels and extravagant yachts to million-dollar rugs woven with real gold and jewels.
The Prince of Brunei even owns one of the UK’s most expensive homes – St. John’s Lodge in London – and a party-pad in Las Vegas with 18 bedrooms. But what’s more impressive is the sheer volume of his opulent acquisitions… from 500 properties and 250 businesses, to over 2,300 cars.
Speaking of… his collection is made up of rare vehicles that include two Jet Black McLaren F1s and a Porsche 550 Spyder. But, according to a collector, he doesn’t always keep his priceless vehicles in the best condition. Perhaps that’s because he prefers other modes of travel: after all, he does own nine personal aircrafts – including a private Boeing 747 jet and a Sikorsky helicopter. Plus a fleet of five boats.
Meanwhile, his recreational spending is just as lavish. Once, he even paid millions to have Michael Jackson perform at the Sultan’s 50th birthday party, where a stadium was custom-made just for the event.
