In this video, we take a look at the extravagant lifestyle of Hollywood bad boy actor Johnny Depp, best-known for his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise.

Over the years, Depp has spent millions to maintain his incredibly lavish lifestyle, being capable of burning through as much as $2 million per month, and with an estimated net worth of about $150 million.

Having earned over $650 million in the last 17 years, the ‘Pirates’ star has spent most of that cash on cars, mansions, and even wine.

Depp owns a chain of private islands in the Bahamas and once owned a 19th-century village in the south of France. The actor spent years restoring the village buildings, converting one of its churches into a guest house. The main house on the property has 12 spacious bedrooms, two huge pools and even an underground wine cellar.

Depp also has a penchant for amassing just about every precious item. He has an impressive wine collection that includes some rare vintages, and can spend $30,000 a month or more on such libations, being willing to pay a premium to have the best bottles flown in from all around the world.

As for fancy wheels… Depp owns more than 45 cars, and is particularly fond of classic cars like the Chevy Corvette C1 and the Chevy Nova.

Meanwhile, in addition to acting, the star has always been an all-round creative. He owns 70 guitars, and once had an art collection worth $11 million. He often keeps souvenirs from movies he has starred in, and rents 12 storage facilities to house his massive $5-million collection of Hollywood memorabilia.

All of those high-value possessions are enough to make anyone a little nervous, not to mention, more than a headache for just one person to maintain… so, Depp spends $150,000 per month on security, with a further $300,000 per month to keep a staff of 40 staff members on his payroll.
