A 30-year-old welder is being treated at the Nicosia general hospital in serious condition after a labour accident, police said on Friday.
According to the police, the man was transferred to the hospital around 4pm on Thursday after falling from a height of three metres while working in an indoor construction site.
Police are investigating the conditions of the incident.
His condition is described as very serious by his doctors.
