Man caught doing 180 km per hour on motorway

Speeding

A 25-year-old man will appear in Larnaca district court on Tuesday after he was caught doing 180 km per hour on the Larnaca-Kophinou motorway. The speed limit on the motorway is 100 km per hour.

Police stopped the man a little after midnight. He was arrested, taken to the police station and charged in writing for speeding. He was then released to appear in court today.
