Teen caught riding stolen motorcycle, arrested

A teenager was arrested after he was found riding a stolen motorcycle in Limassol, police said on Tuesday.

Traffic police stopped the 17-year-old for a check around 3.25pm on Monday.

During the check, officers discovered the motorcycle he was riding had been reported stolen on May 31, 2021.

The boy was also driving without insurance, registration plate numbers, while the stolen motorcycle was not registered.

He was arrested, charged, and released pending his court appearance, police said.
