Limassol municipality will hand out €300 grants to local councils, citizen groups and businesses to decorate their local parks for Christmas.

In a statement, the municipality invited those interested to submit their decoration proposals for their local park, “to bring the spirit of Christmas closer to Limassol’s neighbourhoods”.

The proposals will then go through a selection process “to cover as many of our city’s areas as possible”. The municipality will offer technical support and more, but all equipment must first be inspected and approved by officials.

Those interested must fill in a form found on the municipality’s website, and email it to [email protected]

The submission deadline is November 30.
