In the first month of 2023, the CVAR – Severis Foundation will host two art exhibitions at its venue on Ermou Street, Nicosia.

Arriving first is an exhibition by Andreas Karayan on the occasion of his 80th birthday. The artist will present a showcase titled Cavafy from January 11 to 18.

A few days after Cavafy concludes, another exhibition will open at CVAR. As the Australian High Commission, Cyprus will stage the From a Continent to an Island exhibition, which will open its doors on January 20 and until February 18 will showcase the biggest collection of indigenous Australian art ever to be exhibited on the island. The exhibition will be the High Commission’s launch event for 2023 and its year-long celebrations to mark 50 years of bilateral diplomatic relations between Australia and Cyprus.
