Over 5,000 pensioners benefited from a government scheme funding holidays in village hotels, the labour ministry said on Wednesday.
The cost of the scheme amounted to €862,400. According to the labour ministry, 3,553 applications were submitted which benefited 5,759 people.
It covered the period between June 1, 2022 – July 31, 2022 and between September 1, until October 31.
