Limassol court on Saturday remanded a teen for six days, on suspicion of having stabbed another young man at an internet café.

According to police, the court decided that the 17-year-old suspect would be remanded, following the incident on Friday, where the victim, also 17, was stabbed in in the stomach and neck.

The victim is being treated at a private hospital, and doctors have said that he is out of danger.

The two appear to have had a personal dispute earlier as well, Limassol CID chief Lefteris Kyriacou told reporters at the scene on Friday on Kritis Street.

The perpetrator, who fled the scene and was wanted by the police, later appeared at the police station with his parents and a lawyer and was arrested.
