Police confiscated controlled pharmaceutical and drug products on Tuesday during a raid on shops in Paphos, in cooperation with health ministry officers.

The coordinated operation targeted two shops.

Police found 26 packets in the first shop and 17 packets in the second shop, containing green dry plant matter, believed to be cannabis, weighting 26gr and 43gr respectively.

In the second shop they also found 35 cigarettes with traces of the same substance, mixed with tobacco, as well as seven packets with three cigarettes each, with the indication they contained cannabis oil CBD.

Investigations are continuing.
