Water bills have been transferred from my local area (Oroklini) to the ‘Larnaca’ district although no-one bothered to let us know. Only upon asking Oroklini council where had my September water bill gone to (it was increasingly late throughout the year) was I informed of the change.

Six emails to the new customer desk have been ignored.

I was more interested in a strange bill presented for sewerage removal and drainage (€140), a service which is non-existent, and I know the address to which I sent the following six emails was correct because they did reply to the original.

I still have a bill for the aforementioned but the ‘water bill’ for September, finally received mid-November encloses information regarding the re-organisation. It says that charges for sewerage and drainage (a non-existent service) are included in the new water bills!

I wrote a further letter to the customer desk which, like the other six, has been rudely ignored.

Research on their website gives an email address for accounts but is rejected as undeliverable. A further letter to the ‘info’ dept has also been ignored.

No surprises that this government dept is pulling EU funding. 

The term ‘organisation’ is clearly humorous but having torn my hair out and not liking my new look, I am finding it hard to laugh.
