One of the first interactive experiences and workshops held at the AG Leventis Gallery in 2025 is a participatory event with psychologist and psychotherapist Panayiotis Proestos. On January 18, adults are invited to step into the gallery and its art to explore both the exhibitions and their inner world.

The morning group session, from 10am to 12pm takes place within the temporary exhibition Kanthos: At the Threshold of History. As such, it showcases the series The Women’s Bazaar and Harsh Times by Cypriot artist Telemachos Kanthos (1910-1993).

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with Kanthos’ works, which can serve as stimuli for emotional responses and creative thinking. The workshop aims to foster interaction and expression among participants through dialogue, using artistic representations as a backdrop to explore Cypriot collective memory.

Held in Greek, the Saturday session will be a morning of personal growth, introspection, and social interaction at the gallery and the first event of many in 2025.
