The start of the year has it all, music-wise. A diverse line-up of music performances await for fans of all music tastes. This month, there are cosy jazz nights, uplifting swing tunes and explosive rock gigs around the island.

Approaching soon and still in a festive spirit is the Chara Miller Jazz Duo which will perform jazzy Christmas classics at Larnaca’s The Tudor Inn Bar & Restaurant on Wednesday. Festive tunes and hits from the 20s, 30s and 40s will sound as the live music kicks offs at 8.30pm.

Friday night in Limassol will have more of a rock vibe to it. The Sons of Aphrodite are getting ready for an explosive debut at Billy Jo Sports & Rock Bar as they perform there for the first time. From 9pm onwards they will entertain the crowds with head-banging beats, high-energy riffs and pure rock energy.

Later in the month, Limassol audiences will enjoy a night of classic jazz and swing music by George Kalopedis and the Jazz Syndicate. Performing at the Music Hall Limassol on January 26, they will highlight the Golden Era of jazz from the 20s to the 70s, brought to life by a big jazz band.
