Where do you live and with whom?
I live in Limassol. As I work in Nicosia, I spend most of the day there and sometimes stay overnight. Of course, I keep my personal life to myself and away from the public eye or social networking.

What did you have for breakfast?
A drank a protein shake, although I sometimes opt for yoghurt and oats with fruit.

Describe your perfect day.
My perfect day would be spending time with loved ones and reading a good book.

Best book ever read? Why?
Although I usually read detective stories, as well as books on sports and culture, I recently read the poetry collection Fterougismata Psychis (Flutterings of the Soul) by Androulla Yiannaki and Gia mia angalia ginontai ola (Everything happens for a hug) by Loukia Charalambous Stavrinou. Both were very touching and based on the writers’ experience, and they really touched me.

Best childhood memory?
Outings and activities as a family.

What is always in your fridge?
Chocolate and dairy products.

What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
Classical music, because it relaxes me. In general, I listen to everything, depending on my mood.

What’s your spirit animal? And why?
The hawk because it symbolises freedom and spiritual awakening, leadership and insight.

What are you most proud of?
For everything I have achieved in my life through adversity, and also because I started a new degree three years ago, giving me new insights and skills to achieve my goals and dreams.

What movie scene has really stayed with you? And why?
Megafault – it is a sci-fi movie with a lot of messages on how to deal with a disaster. I compare it to today, where we react to the views of scientists and then rush to survive after a disaster.

If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
Queen Rania of Jordan because I consider her a very important figure who can contribute much to the world.

If you could time travel when/where would you go?
I would go back to Switzerland during Christmastime.

What is your greatest fear?
To lose myself and what I believe in and love.

What would you say to your 18-year-old self?
To defend what is right and speak up for herself – not keep everything bottled up – even if she isn’t heard. At least she would have made an effort for what she believes in. To never accept what is unfair and never be afraid to stand up to anyone who disrespects her.

Name the one thing that would stop you dating someone.
If I found out they were lying or had behaved in an unfair or indecent manner, but mainly if they were not sincere and had ideas dating back to the Middle Ages.

If the world is ending in 24 hours, what would you do?
I would spend the time with my family and my loved ones, and I would try to find a way for us to survive
