An improvised bomb was discovered on Wednesday morning at the entrance of a real estate agency in Kiti, Larnaca district. According to the police, the device failed to detonate due to a material malfunction, according to police.
No damage was caused to the office and the authorities have launched an investigation into the incident. The agency’s owners told police they did not suspect anyone of planting the bomb.
Investigators are reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras in an attempt to identify those responsible. Forensic teams are also examining evidence collected from the scene, hoping to uncover further leads.
The authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
