Three individuals were arrested for various offences during overnight police operations to clamp down on crime.

The police pulled over 316 vehicles and checked 420 drivers and passengers, and filed 140 reports, including 48 for speeding and one for drink driving.

Five vehicles were impounded.

The police also checked 40 establishments and filed two reports.
