Police launched a search on Thursday for a man who allegedly stabbed another individual at a construction site in Mouttayiaka, Limassol.

According to Limassol police, the incident, which involved two foreign nationals, took place at around 8am, with the suspect subsequently fleeing the scene on foot.

The victim was taken to Limassol general hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the attack remain unclear, and further details have not been released regarding the condition of the victim.

Police investigations into the case are continuing.
