Born in India and originally a fashion designer, cookbook author Chetna Makan moved to the UK in 2003, and eventually participated in the hit TV series ‘The Great British Bake Off’. During her season, she made the Coffee, Cardamom and Pistachio Swiss Roll that she recreates in this video.
The sweet fragrance of cardamom in the sponge complements the subtle bitterness of the coffee in the cream, and the chocolate flowers add the knock-out final touch.
