A car with its owner ended up in the sea, in Peyia on Sunday morning after the driver forgot to pull the handbrake.

The driver, a permanent Paphos resident, was not injured.

According to the Cyprus News Agency, the man had parked at around 7.15 am near EDRO III shipwreck, in Oniro area in Peyia, but it seems he forgot to pull the handbrake and the vehicle fell into the water, while he was still in it.

The vehicle was pulled out of the water with the help of a telescopic handler.
