10 eco-friendly construction materials for new homes

In this NMF-sponsored video, we take a look at some alternative and eco-friendly building materials that can replace concrete and steel.

These sustainable materials come from sources you may never have thought of in the context of construction… such as seaweed, mushrooms – even coffee! But odd though they may be, they have all been used by designers and engineers to construct green buildings with a low-carbon footprint.

The NMF – Nick Maughan Foundation – supports a range of philanthropic initiatives in education, the environment and civic support schemes for disenfranchised communities. You can learn more about the NMF, here.
