A start-up described as the “IKEA of houses” is making beautifully-designed, energy-efficient homes that can be assembled in just two weeks.
In this video, we are introduced to NODE – a US company whose homes are designed to be carbon neutral, and some even carbon negative. This means the start-up is taking on both the country’s housing crisis and climate change with their energy-efficient homes.
NODE’s houses are shipped to purchasers in boxes and are designed to be constructed rapidly. The goal is to make it possible for the homes to be assembled by just four people in two weeks.
